McGARVEY Edna Margaret McGarvey aged 99, passed away to heaven on February 16, 2013. Edna was born January 6, 1914 to George and Jessie Faye Nader in Nelsonville, Ohio. As a young girl Edna moved to Columbus' Southside where she met and married her husband, and raised her family. Edna was a proud retiree of Federal Glass and enjoyed dancing at the senior recreation centers of Columbus. She was a life-long gardener and swore by the Farmer's Almanac. Edna was known for canning the fruits of her labor and especially for her pickles. She was a wonderful cook, avid reader, graceful dancer, always had a laugh or a song to share, and she never met a stranger. Edna is survived by her daughter Charlotte Talbott of Columbus, son Patrick (Barbara) McGarvey of Dunellon, FL., sister-in-law Lura Lee Nader, and many nieces and nephews. She leaves a legacy of grandchildren, including great and great-great. Grandchildren; David (Alicia) Talbott, Mark (Suzette) Talbott, Jennifer, Charles and Sonia McGarvey, Michael (Diana)McGarvey and Shawn McGarvey. Great Grandchildren; Ashley and Joshua McGarvey, Mark and Shane Talbott, Christopher and Dalton Talbott, Benjamin and Bailey McGarvey, and Michael and Sophia McGarvey. Great-Great Grandchildren; Carter McGarvey, and Sapphire and Chance Talbott. Edna's family that went to heaven before her include her parents, George and Jessie Faye Nader, her husband Michael J. McGarvey, her son Charles L. "Buzz" McGarvey , grandson Thomas McGarvey, son-in- law David "Sonny" Talbott ,and daughter-in- law Mary McGarvey. Her siblings in heaven; Gertrude Underwood, Elaine "Pee Wee" Bridger, June Ann Nader, Virginia Nader and Charles, Otto and Raymond Nader. Friends may call at O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S.
