Obituary

Egie Juanita Coffey, age 92, passed away May 12, 2025, in Mount Sterling, Ohio. Juanita was born to the late Arnold and Hattie (Thompson) Bowe on March 24, 1933, in Louisa, Kentucky. Juanita was a homemaker. She enjoyed sitting out on the porch and talking on the phone. She is preceded in death by her parents; Chester Coffey, beloved husband of 54 years; sister, Julie Loar Rundio; brothers, Ezra "June" Bowe, Chandis Bowe and Bill Bowe. She is survived by sisters, Phyllis (David) Jenkins, Barbara Charles; brother, Richard (Pearl) Bowe. Juanita will be greatly missed by her children; daughter, Mary Lou (Dan) Neff; sons, Gary Coffey, Larry (Cheryl) Coffey, Steven (Shelly) Coffey. Juanita had many grandchildren that she loved, Danny Ray, Mike, Kristen, Jeremy, Justin, Kaleb, Brookelyn and great-grandchildren, Emma, Scout, Sierra, Danielle, Kaleb, Jacob, Taylyn, Bryar, Levi, Aiden, Bristol, Kayson, Kensley, Karson, Brailyn, Adalyn.

Visitation will be from 2:00PM until 5:00PM on Sunday, May 18th, 2025. Services will start at 11:00AM on Monday, May 19th, 2025 at the O.R. WOODYARD Co. 1346 S. High St, Columbus, OH 43207. Pastor Burley Muncy will be officiating. Interment will follow to Obetz Cemetery.
