Rose Gatewood-Preece, age 77, passed away on October 23, 2024 at her home in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Rose was born on March 13, 1947 in Huntington (Long Island), New York to the late George and Eleanor (Munn) Schery. She worked in collections for the banking industry and BMW financial services. Rose is survived by her husband Paul Preece of 16 years of marriage.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, George H Schery and Eleanor; her sisters, Helen, Lillian, and Betty; and her brother, George. She is survived by her sons, George (Laura), Jerry (Karen), Terry (Nikki), Joe, Danny (Roxann), Frank and daughter, Deborah; her sister, Toni Lynn; her step-sons, John, and David (Christine); step-daughters, Carrie, Deanne (Robert), and Earlena; 34 grandkids; and a many great grandkids; as well as many friends and relatives.

The visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM, all held at Pfeifer Woodyard Funeral Home, 7915 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, with Deacon Jim Kelly, officiating. Burial will follow the service in Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
