Betty lived her whole life in Columbus, Ohio (though her parents, Russel; & Amelia Angelo/Piccinini immigrated from Italy). She passed away in her home at 91 years old.  (Elizabeth) Betty grew up in a rooming house on Rich St. downtown, where her family started a sewing-pressing shop. She and her older brother, Orfeo (aka Tootsie) made friends with the many tenants that rented rooms there. She went to Holy Family Catholic School, then later worked in a bank. She married Ernst Noesner in 1955 and had four children: Brenda Mary, Linda Sherry, Sandra Carrie (she liked rhymes) and later Kevin Ernst. Betty worked in school cafeterias (St. Leo's, St. Agatha's, Hastings and Upper Arlington's) over the years. She also ran the rental properties after Ernst passed away in 1994. Betty has left behind grandchildren: Rileigh Hageman, Kelli Pirtle, Cora Rhodes and Tyler Hilbert. And she had three great-grandchildren: Levi, Walter & Simeon Pirtle, (plus a new one coming next month). Eastcleft Drive in UA was Betty's home since 1972. She shared it with her pet chickens and turtles. She resides with Jesus now, but will continually be missed by all of her family and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on October 28th, 2025 at the O.R. WOODYARD Co. Funeral Home 2990 Bethel Road, Columbus, OH 43220. A full Catholic mass will begin at 10:00 AM on October 29th, 2025 at Holy Cross Church, 204 S. 5th St. Columbus, OH 43215. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
