Emily Jo Cain, 84 of Columbus passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 25, 2014. She was born in Louisa, Kentucky on March 13, 1929 to the late Everett and Cleora Moore Roberts. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, John Cain; son William, 1 sister and 3 brothers. She is survived by her loving children; Charles, Frank, Stan (Carol), Jim (Kathy), Sandy (Bill) Wisecarver and Jackie Brumfield. Also surviving are daughter-in-law; Lorraine Cain, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, 4 brothers, many nieces and nephews and a close personal friend, Rita Reynolds. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM on Wednesday at the O.R. WOODYARD CHAPEL, 1346 S. High Street. Funeral will be at First Christian Baptist Church, 4185 Parsons Ave on Thursday at 11 AM. Pastor Libby Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Obetz Cemetery.
