In loving memory of Emma Marie (Bush) Adkins, June 27, 1930 - November 5, 2020. Daughter of the late Manlius and Nettie Frazer Bush of Greenup County, KY. Emma married the late Royce L. Adkins and moved to Ohio where they resided in Shadeville. Emma was the beloved mother of the late Rick Adkins, Larry (Susan) Adkins, Barry (Kimberly) Adkins, and Kevin (Tammy) Adkins. As well as grandmother to Tim (Mary) Wylie, Heather (Jay Simpkins) Adkins, Kristina (Kevin) Hayes, Jared Adkins, Nicholas (Ciara Tope) Adkins, Kassandra (Thomas) Farrell, Gavin Adkins, Kyle (Megan) Adkins, with many great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Emma was a hard-working woman, with a strong devotion to work and family. She spent many years working at Robert Shaw, Federal Glass, Westinghouse, Lombardi Dairy Diner, and Scioto Downs Track kitchen where she had acquired many extended family and friends. She loved family gatherings, playing rummy and reasons to dress herself up. Emma had a contagious smile and didn't meet a stranger. She was a loving soul that be remembered and missed by many. Friends may call from 5 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the O. R. Woodyard South Chapel, 1346 South High St., where the funeral will be on Friday at 10:30 AM.
