Eugene D. Spangler, age 81, born in Columbus, Ohio. Preceded in death by his parents Welcome and Lucy Spangler, brothers Paul and Roderick, sister Juanita and daughter Debra. He leaves his loving family; his wife, Virginia; daughter, Shirley (Joe) Largan; sons, David (Wilma) Spangler, John (Sue) Spangler, all of Columbus, Malcolm (Becky) Spangler of Buckeye Lake; step-son, Anthony Witherspoon; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his brother, Malcolm (Nancy) Spangler of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; and many friends. Viewing hours will be Sunday, November 27 from 3-6 p.m. at O. R. WOODYARD CO. MIDTOWN CHAPEL, 255 E. State St., where service will be held Monday 10 a.m. Rev. Jeffrey Julien officiating.
