Evelyn F. Bendel (nee Simon), age 77, passed away, Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 26, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Frank & Ann Sapan Simon.

She was a loving mother to her sons, Michael (Marcie) Skory, Marc (Stephanie) Skory and Joseph (Shelby) Skory.  She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Laura, Brandon, Lana, Lilly, Gianna, Alexia; five great-grandchildren, Kelsy, Mason, Julian, Amelia and Penelope.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 30 years, Danny; her brother, Robert L. Simon (Jean) and her former spouse, Joseph L. Skory.

The family will hold a private service at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio in the near future.
