Everett J. Blevins, age 72, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 19, 1950, to the late James and Oweda Blevins. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by Leah Linda Blevins(wife).

Everett is a 1968 graduate of South High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from Nationwide Insurance with over 25 years of service. Everett was a member of Amvets, Moose Lodge and American Legion. He was a loving father and friend.

Everett is survived by his wife, Lisa Blevins; children, Melanie (Jamie) Hise, James (Angie) Blevins and stepson, Steven Lang; grandchildren, Ashlee (Tanner) Lemaster, Aiden Blevins, Tyler (Brittany) Higgenbotham, Corey Hise, Ryan Hise, and step granddaughter, Alexis Woolridge-Lang; great-grandchildren, Penelope Lemaster, Alaric and Aizen Higgenbotham; pet cat, Kitty; several cousins and beloved friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 24th from 5 pm until 11 pm at American Legion Post 144 - 3253 S. High St. Columbus, OH 43207.
