Fannie Mae Varnell age 95 passed away December 11, 2020. Born February 1, 1925 to the late David and Sarah Phillips Chambers in Hamilton County, Tenn. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Reverend Raymond Varnell, who went to be with the Lord in 2001; a infant daughter, Janette; and granddaughter, Cindy. Her siblings, Lyda Parker, Estola Varnell, Peggy Bonine, Geneva Crane were all of Tenn. and a brother, Earl Chambers of Georgia. Survived by daughters, Glenda (Wayne) Nolting, and Darlene (Thomas) Hart; son, Michael Ray (Christina) Varnell; 9 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephew, other family, church family and dear friends. Friends may call at the Parsons Ave. Church of God, 3389 Parsons Ave. Tuesday, December 15, from 11 am until time of funeral service at 1 P.M. Pastor Brice Utt officiating.
