Floyd L. Chaffin, age 81, passed away on December 19, 2025. Born September 17, 1944 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Floyd Sr. and Esther Chaffin.

He is preceded in death by brother, Thomas Chaffin. Floyd is survived by beloved wife of 37 years, Lori Chaffin and daughter, Susan Allison Chaffin, adopted son/grandson, Hayden Rutter; grandchildren, Branden Rutter and Caroline Chaffin; stepdaughter, Rebecca Leadman; sisters, Linda Hersland and Judith Worthington; aunt, Susan Finch; other relatives and friends.  Floyd was a family man through and through and had a big heart always willing to help wherever there was a need. He was an avid football and Nascar fan. Floyd also enjoyed being outside and when he was able, loved to play golf. Visitation will be held Monday, December 29, 2025, 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home 587 Main Street Groveport, Ohio. Pastor David Sells Officiating
