Obituary

Frances "Jean" Thornhill, age 89, passed away on June 18, 2024 in Doctor's West Hospital.

Jean was born in Louisa Kentucky on July 5, 1934 to her parents, the late Reverend Bert and Ethel Blackburn Miller.

Jean retired from the COPCO Paper Company. She was a Charter Member of the Lockbourne Free Will Baptist Church and served for many years in her church. She was an avid Buckeye fan. She loved her family, friends and her Lord.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James; brother, Roy Miller; nephew, Tony Miller; son-in-law, Mike Hook; grandson, Jason Hook.

Jean is survived by daughters, Patty Hook and Vicki Thornhill; Son, Jerry Thornhill; brother, Jim Miller; grandchildren, Joe Thornhill, Kristen Thornhill (Jamie), Steven Thornhill (Tiffany), Kasey Shaffer (Chris).

many great grandchildren, nieces nephews, other family and friends.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Doctors West Hospital, The Laurels at Norton Road, especially Paige, Jen and Melissa. We will be eternally grateful for the love, support and caring that you showed to our mom and grandma, Jean.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11 AM on Monday, June 24, at the O.R. Woodyard Co. at 1364 South High St. Columbus Ohio 43207. Pastors Leon Stevens and Mort Adams will be officiating and burial will follow at Obetz Cemetery in Obetz.
