Frank D. "Butch" Blankenship, age 67, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at home with his family at his side. Born in Roanoke, Virginia to the late Frank D. and Dorothy Blankenship. Survived by wife of 20 years, Barbara; daughter, Julie (Jr) Smith; grandchildren, Tena (Anthony), Jeffrey (Kristin), Oria and Katie (Corve); great grandchildren, Serenity, Seriyah, Cayden; siblings Linda Sprouse, Gloria Edwards, Karen (John) Gootee, Kathleen Wiggins, Arleen (Harry) Minthorne, Brian (Robin) Blankenship; many nieces, nephews and family. Visitation will be held at O. R. WOODYARD CO. Chapel, 1346 S. High St., Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 5 pm till 7 pm.
