Franklin Paul Zane, age 71, of Columbus, OH, passed away surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born in Columbus, OH, on October 27, 1953, to the late Franklin Paul Zane and Rosemary E. Murphy Zane.

Franklin worked as a welder at C.H. Bradshaw, where he eventually retired from. In his free time, he would volunteer as a landscaper or attend gatherings for the Southeast Conservation Club.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Patricia Zane, his biological father, Franklin P. Zane; stepfather, Robert H. Varner; mother, Rosemary E. Varner and grandson, Holden W. Curtis. He is survived by sister "Rosie" (George) Ferguson of Corning, OH; children, Patricia S. (Bill) Curtis of Columbus and Franklin P. (Brenna) Zane of Circleville; Four grandchildren, Destiny, Hailey, Max and Ian; nephew, George Ferguson; many additional family and friends.

Friends and family can call from 10:00AM until time of service at 12:00PM on Friday, February 21, 2025 at the O.R. WOODYARD Co. Funeral Home 1346 S. High St. Columbus, OH 43207. Burial will follow at Greenfield cemetery. Pastor Dennis Barnhart will be officiating.
