On the morning of October 17, 2022, Louie Betts of Columbus, Ohio died at the age of 79 years old. Louie was born to Glendora Betts and Frederick Betts in 1942 to Cambridge, Ohio. He graduated from Cambridge High School in 1960 at the age of 17 years old. Louie wore many hats, working at a cemetery in his younger years then going on to be employed as a probation officer. He also worked at Buckeye Manufacturing and Liebert Corporation from where he retired. In 1980, Louie met Bonnie and they were married by 1982. Together, they raised 4 wonderful children, Char, Cindy, Sonny, and Crystal. In 1986, Anthony was the new addition and in 1991, Julie was brought into the world. Louie was always the life of the party. He always knew how to make you smile and had the best sense of humor. No matter who you were, he made sure everyone felt like a part of the family. No words in the world can sum up or begin to describe him, but as I do my best, he was the Best Dad, tough love and all. He just wanted the best. Louie loved his wife dearly and kids and grandkids endlessly. Louie loved the Cleveland Browns. He also loved to play basketball and fishing was his Zen. Louie joined his parents in Heaven, as well as mother-in-law, Tight Bottoms and granddaughter, Seara "Mudslide" Niravong. The memories of the life of Louie will remain with his devoted and loving wife of 40 years, Bonnie Betts; sister, Shirley Betts-Hollins; his six children, Julie "Tizzy Mae," Anthony "Gomer Pyle" Char "Sweet Charlotte," Cindy, Sonny "Sonny Boy," and Crystal "Florance"; all 50 of his grandkids; and 31 of his great grandkids who he loved more than life itself; and many other dear friends and family. You're truly missed and really loved and will forever be in our hearts. We will never forget you. We love you.
