Garnet Hazel Lee, age 98, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, September 25, 2026. Garnet was Born October 12, 1927, in Lewis County, Kentucky. Growing up she attended Clay High School, Portsmouth, Ohio. She married R.B. Lee and they were blessed with daughter Pauletta and son Leslie. She was a homemaker taking care of her family and in her spare time, she loved to sew and quilt, tell family stories, go on vacations, and watch the Buckeyes football games. Christmas was her favorite holiday; she loved to decorate and give gifts. Garnet is preceded in death by husband, R.B. Lee; parents, Willie and (Roberta) Horsley; sisters, Lillian Conley, Jean Lykins and Reva Skaggs; daughter, Pauletta Lucas. She is survived by her son, Leslie (Tammy) Lee; grandchildren Lori Gibbs, Bryan (Shana) Lee; niece, Terri Mullins; nephew, Joe Gilliam and many more nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Obetz Cemetery.
