Gary Dean Decot, age 61, passed away Saturday October 19, 2024, at Grant Medical Center. He is Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leo and Hilda Decot, and his maternal grandparents, Sarah and George Funk; sister-in-law, Cami Elkins Decot; niece, Margo L. Decot; nephew, Richard Benjamin Decot. Gary is survived by his wife Ruby Jane Decot of 16 years, son; Mchael (Sarah) Decot; daughter, Ashley Decot; grandson, Jeremiah McFann; parents, Richard and Rose Marie Decot; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was a big Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Thanksgiving was Gary's holiday. Nobody made the turkey but him. He loved his wife's cooking. Gary's family meant everything too him. Visitation for Gary will be held Thursday October 24, 2024, at O.R. Woodyard Co. South High Chapel. 1346 S. High St. Columbus, Oh. 43207 from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 Noon. Father Tabi officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery.
