Gene Albert Bussard age 84 passed away August 31, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Hospital East. Born November 8, 1932 in Columbus to the late Lester Bussard and Marie Robinson Bussard Weisfoot. Retired after many years with Yaeger, Federal Glass, Flickengers and Richman Brothers. U.S Air Force Veteran, Korean War and member of VFW #10523. Volunteer at Motts Military Museum. Member of Madison Christian Church, TOPS, and Beary Good Friends, Good Bears of the World. Preceded in death by his parents; step father, Leroy Weisfoot and brother Jim. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Wanda; son, Ken (Pamela) Bussard; daughter, Ramona Bussard; grandchildren, K.C. (Brittany Miller) Bussard, Brett (Jennifer) Bussard, Marissa (Zach Zasadzinski) Bussard; great grandson Keller Jackson Bussard; Sisters-in-law Joyce Morehart and Gayle Carr; Nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many good friends. Friends may call at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, Groveport, Ohio Sunday 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Madison Christian Church, 3565 Bixby Rd. Monday at 10 a.m. with visiting 1 hour prior. Pastor Paul Barnes officiating. Entombment at Lithopolis Masoleum.
