George Joseph Colbert III, age 59, passed away on Monday February 23, 2026, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Oh. George was born on November 1, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio the late George Joseph and MaryAlice (Kinney) Colbert Jr. He is survived by his son, Mark (Farnoush) Colbert; stepdaughter, Chandera Hinton; life partner, Michelle Branham; sister, Lois Colbert; step children, Casaundra "Casey" Roberts, Anthony Wayne Taylor, Kaylah Dawn Taylor, and Kristen Roberts; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; nephew, Garrett Colbert. Visitation for George will be held Friday February 27, 2026, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home 587 Main St. Groveport, Oh. 43125.
