George Joseph Colbert Jr., age 76, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2017. He was born on November 24, 1941 to the late George and Thelma Colbert of Pepperell, MA. George served in the Navy and enjoyed volunteering as a firefighter in Hamilton TWP. He loved square dancing, camping, and his dear wife, Mary. He and Mary were longtime members of the Heritage Free Will Baptist Church. George was a generous soul, and family meant the world to him. He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 loving years, Mary, and his parents. George is survived by his son, George (Michelle) Colbert III; daughter, Lois Colbert; grandsons, Mark (Adalina) and Garrett (Kayla) Colbert; granddaughter, Chandera; great grandchildren, Garrett Jr., Tai, and Alayna; sister, Alice (Ron) Delano; sister in law, Linda Kinney; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Friends may call at the Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, 575 Obetz Rd., from 5 until the funeral service at 7 PM on Friday, December 29, 2017.
