George Fulakis, age 90, passed away at home on May 3, 2013. Born June 8, 1922 within site of the acropolis in Athens, Greece to the late Fotios and Evangelia (Mavromali) Fulakis. Preceded in death by daughter Sylvia Knowles, brothers Michael, John, and Kostas and sister Christina. George is survived by loving wife of 47 years, Patricia Isaly Fulakis; daughters, Elizabeth Athena Fulakis, Lynne Ellen (Chad) Hinton of Cincinnati, Eva Vine of England; grandchildren, Mikayla and Caylan Hinton of Cincinnati and Zoe (Adam) Cox and John (Tainya) Knowles of England; sisters, Katina (Vasilis) Limberis, Sophia Poniri, and Eleftheria Sachindinis, all of Athens, Greece; brother-in-law, Charles William (Fran) Isaly of Cincinnati; and sister-in- law, Ellen Isaly (Bob Johnstone) of Dallas; great-grandchildren in England; nieces, nephews, neighbors, and Sunday morning Church friends. He was a tool maker machinist working at Sensotec, Rockwell, and National Electric Coil. At church he was a festival worker, a 50 plus member, and a 25 year choir member. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 8, from 5-8 p.m. with Trisagion Service at 7:30 p.m. at O. R. WOODYARD CO. NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 2990 Bethel Rd. Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 555 N High St. Father Demetrios Gardikes officiating. Interment Marion Cemetery.
