Georgia Tysene King, age 51, passed away on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, in our home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on April 27th, 1973, to Joyce (Upton) and Melvin King. She was a truly loving, loyal, and compassionate friend, cousin, niece, granddaughter, sister, and the absolute best mother and grandmother we could have ever asked for. Her family always came first, she always seemed to make time for the ones she cared about. Whether that meant making a phone call or making the drive.  She is survived by her son (Mychael King), daughter in law (Dolorili King), her grandchildren (Mychael II, Tristin, Isannah, Cody, and Quintin), brothers and sisters (Robert, Davey, Christy, Melissa, and Lisa), as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends. She loved each and every one of you with all of her heart. We will be having a memorial service for friends and family on Sunday March 16th, at the West Jeff VFW from 12-6p. This will allow everyone to come pay their respects, mourn, and share memories on their own time throughout the afternoon and evening. In addition to her memorial services, she asked that her best friends Drema and Windy host a party with close friends and family in her honor. We will be able to provide more details at a future time. She is now resting with the loved ones we've lost, I'm sure she has been busy catching up with them.
