Gerald M. Seymour, 71, of Columbus OH passed away on December 13, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones. Gerald was born on November 4th, 1950 to parents, Bertha Chapman and Stanley Seymour of Columbus, Ohio. Gerald was an avid business man who loved helping others. He enjoyed working on home improvement projects, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. Everyone who knew him loved his sense of humor and joking personality. Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Tague) Seymour, mother, Bertha Chapman, father, Stanley Seymour, and sister, Karen Gill. He is survived by son, Gary E. Seymour, daughter, Tina Jones, son, Jeffrey, and Cindy Hunter; grandchildren, Erica Jones and Luis Barrera, Brandy (Brian) Snader, Tiffany Jones, Trista Hunter, Jeffrey Hunter, Kya Hunter, Ares Hunter; great grandchildren, Kenzey, Kiley, Karlee, Adalyn, and Kayden; sister: Debra Secrest; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other family and dear friends. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until 1 PM on Sunday, December 19th at Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home, 587 Main St. Groveport, Ohio 43125 where the funeral will be Monday, December 20th at 12 PM noon.
