Glenn Kennedy, age 83, went to be with the Lord on February 27, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born on May 31, 1938 in Chester Hill, Ohio to the late Romanus and Irma Kennedy. Glenn worked for Columbus City Schools as a journeyman plumber. Glenn was a man of few words, but had a huge heart of gold; he was loyal, kind, and dependable, he was our rock. He was a huge family man, his children and grandchildren were his world. Glenn also loved the Lord and accepted him as his Lord and Savior. He is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings: twin sister, Glenna Kennedy, Tom Kennedy, Gillan (Margaret) Kennedy, Russell Kennedy, and Marjorie (Jim) Tabler; and brother in law, Curly Driggs. Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Sherry L. Kennedy; children: Kevin Kennedy, Kerry Kennedy, and Phelyna (Kevin) Davis; grandchildren: Zachary King, Taylor (fianc Alex Ballard) King, Hannah Eveland, and Kenzie Davis; great grandsons, Tatum Payne and Beau Ballard; sister, Maxine Driggs; sister in law, Pauline Kennedy; many nieces and nephews, too numerous to list. Glenn is also survived by his dogs: Teddy, Punkin, and Brownie. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 1 PM. Pastor Stephen Hale officiating.
