Goble "Bobbie" James, age 86, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 in Columbus, Ohio. Bobbie was born February 28, 1935 in Paintsville, KY to the late Dexter and Bessie Blair. She enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with her family outdoors. Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Roy James; 2 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her children, Everett Dwayne (Valerie) Ratliff, Crecy (Mike) Young, and Cathy (John) Young; grandchildren, Tracy (Jackie), Patricia (Josh), William (Samantha), Crystal (Tom), Jamie, Matthew (Kristen), James, Shawn (Stephanie), and Christopher (Mindy); a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Ruby, Jeanie, and Linda; brother, Elmer; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the O.R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH where funeral service will be Friday, January 21, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Pastor David Kramer officiating. Interment will follow at Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, OH.
