On May 4th 2024, Lt. Colonel Gordon Taft of Reynoldsburg passed away at the age of 98 years.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 67 years Lorraine, brother Robert and sister Claudine,

parents Orlan and Gertrude Taft.

Survived by;

Sons: Thomas (Sheryl) Taft, Ronald (Barbara) Taft, Brother in Law: James (Betty) Kinney.

Grandchildren: Eric (Kristen) Taft, Amy Taft, Shaun Taft, Lauren Taft, Troy (Amy) Meek, Chad

(Julie) Meek. Great Grandchildren: Audrey, Zach, Aevin, Teagan, Sage, Grant, Garrett, Gaven,

Nick, Sydney.

Gordon spent 33 years as a pilot in the US Air Force. His tours of duty included Korea and

Vietnam. After retirement Gordon and Lorraine spent many years traveling the country, visiting

friends and spending their summers at "Camp".

He will be dearly missed by family and friends here and at his home in New Haven, New York.

The family wishes to send a special thanks to the residents and staff at Wesley Ridge for their

friendship and care for the past 10 years. He enjoyed making many new friends, sharing stories,

talking his daily walks and the cornhole.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in New Haven, New York.
