Gregory Gallagher, age 66, passed away at home on November 2, 2021. Born on February 11, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio to the late William and Dolores Gallagher. He was a graduate of Walnut Ridge High School Class of 1973 and received his bachelors degree in education from Ohio State Univ. in 1981. Over the years Greg worked at SCOA Industries, BankOne, Animal Dermatology Lab, and Nationwide Insurance. He is survived by wife of 42 years, Betty Gallagher; sister, Cheri (Ed) Williams; sisters-in-law, Connie (Larry) Simmons and Debbie (Jim) Luterek; nieces and nephews, Mark (Becky) Simmons, Jane Luterek, Jeff (Katia) Luterek, Doug (Brandy) Simmons, Danielle (Bill) Phillips, Kris (Scott) Niedzwecki, and Brandon (Courtney) Williams; and 17 great nieces and nephews, William, Triston, Cadon, Ethan, Emma, Deanna, McKenna, Jacob, Cole, Asher, Daxon, Mara, Sebastian, Adriano, Lucas, Emma, and Oakley. Gathering of family and friends will occur on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 2 pm until the time of informal service at 4 pm. Private inurnment will occur at a later date at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Donations in Greg's memory may be made to ProMedica/Heartland Hospice or Capital Area Humane Society.
