Harold L. Hawkins Sr., age 88, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Emeritus at Lakeview. Born December 29, 1923 in Delaware, OH to the late James Hawkins and Sylvia Curtis. Proud WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. Retired from Fisher Body with 30 years of service. Preceded in death by wife of 52 years, Thelma Hawkins. Survived by children, Brenda (Kenny) Adams, Ronald (Dale) Hawkins, Harold (Dixie) Hawkins Jr. and Sandra (Tony) Mazzenga; grandchildren, Chelsea Adams, Melissa Diamond, Nichole Jacobs, Susan, Jason, Matthew, Jody, Jack, and Buffy Hawkins, Michael Melrose, and Joseph O'Neil; 17 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
