Harold W. Kirk, age 96, passed away at home on October 5, 2017. Born March 18, 1921 in Freeburn, KY to the late Albert and Virginia Kirk. Harold proudly served in the U.S. Army in WWII. He made his life as a musician where he could be found playing at many local places throughout Ohio and surrounding states. Harold is preceded in death by beloved wife, Eliza Jane Kirk; siblings, Willis, Paul, Ed, Ellis, Glennis, Morris, Albert Jr., Lela Ruth, Donald, and Fay; and daughter-in-law, Jane. Harold is survived by children, William (Flo), Kenny, Dyanna (Clarence), John (Denise), and Eugene; brother, Glen; 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, October 9th, from 10am until 2pm at O. R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel 1346 S. High St. A graveside service will take place immediately following at Franklin Hills Memory Garden. In lieu of flowers family suggests donations in Harold's memory to DAV.
