Harold Edward Thompson, age, 75, was born on March 3, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Henry and Jean (Cordell) Thompson. Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Jean; brothers, Mike Thompson and Charles Swannigan; and step-father, John Swannigan. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Zula Thompson; daughters, Alicia (Ken) McCafferty, and Brittany Thompson; granddaughter, Jackie McCafferty. Harold was a US Marine, who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He loved going to the casino, being outdoors, going fishing, watching his daughters play softball, and playing euchre and dominoes. Visitation for Harold will be held Thursday January 2, 2025, from 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 Noon, at O. R. Woodyard Co. South High St. Chapel, 1346 S. High St. Columbus, Oh. 43207. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
