Hattie Marie Booth Varney, age 87, of Pataskala, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2021. Hattie was born December 17, 1933 in Kermit, West Virginia to the late Elmer and Ida Mae Booth. Preceded in death by husband of 71 years, Franklin Delano Varney, son, Charles Edward Varney, and son-in-law, Rev. Paul Timothy Thompson. Survived by sister, Marilyn Coffman of Florida; children, Del (Joan) Varney of Commercial Point, Cinda Thompson of Pataskala, Wanda (Rod) Smith of Marysville, and daughter-in-law, Terry Varney of Dover, Florida; grandchildren, Joanie (Daren) Neff, Charissa (John) Saltzman, Erin (Joseph) Velasquez, Chad (Amber) Varney, Jonathan (Melissa) Smith, Derrick (Amanda) Smith, Eric (Alex) Varney, and Sarah (Josh) Zeller; 16 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends.
