Helen L. Walker, age 83, passed away at home surrounded by beloved family and friends on August 11, 2025. Born July 19, 1942 to the late Clyde and Flossie Lawson. Helen was born and raised in War, WV and moved to Columbus with her husband, Ted in 1963. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her free time she enjoyed reading and family get togethers. She loved to serve the Lord and regularly attended Lockbourne Freewill Baptist. She is preceded in death by husband, Theodore "Ted" L. Walker; son, David Walker; step-son, Ted Walker Jr.; brothers, Michael, Tommy, Jimmy, Johnny, and Curt; and sister, Debbie.

Helen is survived by daughter, Donna (Terry Richards) Walker-Richards, grandchildren, Jeremiah Walker, Tara (Robert Fish) Walker, Courtney (Justin) Haynes and Stephanie Walker; great grandchildren, Kaylee, Olivia, Braxton, Korbin, Cameron, and Kyler; brothers, Tracy (Jay) Lawson, Bill Williams, and Jerry Williams; sisters, Linda (Jimmy) Stevenson, Karen (Jackie) Dillon, and Terry (Hobert) Deskins; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 15, 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at O. R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel, 1346 South High Street, where funeral service will follow at 12 noon Brandy Walker-Anderson officiating. Interment Fernwood Cemetery
