Henry E. Johnson Jr.(John), age 81, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Kobacker House Hospice. Born April 1, 1931 in Iron Gate, VA to the late Henry Sr. and Lula Johnson. U.S. Marine Veteran of the Korean War. Retiree of Westinghouse. Preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters; granddaughter Amy. Survived by his spouse and sweetie, Vera; daughter, Henrietta (Ed); step-daughter Mary (Glen); step-sons Bobby (Sharma), and Alan (Dee); grandchildren, Ed (Michelle), Matthew (Amy), Amy (John), Ray (Darlene), Tommy, Jimmy (Tonia), Nikki (Kevin), Heather (Joey), Keith, Bobby (Lauren), and Kayla; 15 great grandchildren; sisters Dorthy, Nancy, Irmma Mae; brothers Ray, Ralph, and Fred. Numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends; close family friend, Denny. Friends may call Friday, December 14, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St. where service will be Saturday, 1:30 p.m. Reverend William L. Snider officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery.
