Herbert Ray Anderson, age 70, passed away on July 2, 2016. Born November 12, 1945 in Columbus, OH. Herbert is preceded in death by mother, Josephine Lupfer; father, Ellsworth Anderson; sister, Dorese Anderson; and good friend, Hubert Walls. He is survived by daughters, Cindi Anderson, Anita Anderson, Lori Mollett, and Shelly Anderson; grandchildren, Danielle, Bryan, Heather, Brittani, Storm, Rebecka, Garrett, and Bob; 9 great grandchildren; brother, George (Kathleen) Anderson; sister, Judy (Carl) Askew; longtime friends, Randy Shaeffer and Gary (Margey) Cheses; many other relatives and friends. Ray was an avid NASCAR fan with Mark Martin being his favorite driver. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 6, from 5 - 8 pm at O. R. Woodyard South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. where funeral services will be held on Thursday, 10:30 am with Pastor Tim Stout officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery.
