Howard Lee Cline, 93, went to be home with the lord on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at The Ohio State Medical Center. Born in Floyd County, Kentucky April 4th, 1931 to the late Exer Cline (Wells) and Wiliam Mckinley Cline.

He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Kimberly S. Fritz. Survived by his wife of 68 years Frances L. Cline (Bush); daughter Colene K. (Gerald) Brunton; Son in law Ronald L. Fritz; Grandchildren Josh (Ashley) Grubbs, Elijah (Marissa) Grubbs, Victoria Cline and several great-grandchildren.

He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany during his time. After the Army he spent 38 years working for Techniglass where he made many close friends and later retired from.

He was an active member at Canaan Land Church and enjoyed socializing with his family and friends. He loved spending time outside on his farm raising cows, horses, chickens, and tending to his garden.

Howard was a kind, passionate, hardworking, and generous soul. He was not afraid to lend a hand where help was needed and was liked by all who knew him. His children and grandchildren were his greatest love. He always kept close contact with all of his family. He will be missed and cherished by many.

Family will receive friends at Canaan Land Church, 2777 Gantz Rd, Grove City, Ohio on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 4 to 6 pm., funeral service will be held at 6 pm. Pastor Shawn Beauchamp officiating.  Private interment will be held at Lithopolis Cemetery.  O. R. Woodyard Co. Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
