Howard W DeVoe, age 91, died peacefully August 18, 2024 after a lengthy illness. Born November 28, 1932 in Columbus, OH to the late Howard L. and Mary Ellen (Bendetti) DeVoe. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Virginia DeVoe. He is survived by son Dan (Christine) DeVoe, Step-children Gerald (Kathy) Messer, John (Louise) Messer who he resided with, Joni (David) Townsend. Several grandchildren. He loved sports especially Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds. Howard served in the United States Army. He was a service manager for Thomas Doors many years and also for Wayne Dalton Doors. Family will receive friends at O.R. Woodyard Company Chapel, 1346 S. High St on Monday August 26, 2024 from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Military Honors and Burial will take place at Green Lawn Cemetery.
