Howard Thomas Hinkle, age 77, passed away at Kobacker House with his family by his side on May 3, 2021. He was born on June 18, 1943 in Inez, KY to the late Haskel and Maude Hinkle. He made his way up to Columbus to work and he retired from Grote Company after working in tool & die for most of his career. Tom was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather; his family meant everything to him. Tom enjoyed the outdoors and going to the Columbus Metro Parks to hike and bike. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 35 years, Martha D. Hinkle; brothers, Eugene Hinkle and Elmer Hinkle. He is survived by his daughters, Kathlene Hinkle and Janine Curry; grandson, Isaac Curry; sister, Josephine Waller; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 2 to 4 PM at O.R. Woodyard South Chapel (1346 S. High St. Col., 43207).
