Howard L. Kelly Jr., passed away April 13, 2018. He was born on June 28, 1947 to Ruby and Howard L. Kelly Sr. Howard was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Navy and sailed aboard the USS Mauna Kea AE-22. Howard retired with 20 plus years of service from Ross (Abbott) Labs. He was a lover of classic cars and Virginia Beach, often making yearly trips to see both. He is preceded in death by his father, Howard and his two sisters, Debrah Lassahn and Patricia Kirk. Howard is survived by his wife of 22 years, Sharon K. Kelly; mother, Ruby; brother, David (Brenda) Kelly; sons, Kevin (Teresa Thomas) Kelly, Jeffrey (Cindy) Kelly; daughters, Sheila (Ron Mellotte) Savage, Angela (Aaron) Jones; grandchildren, Cody and Amanda Kelly, Hannah, Tyler, and Jacob Parsons, Natasha (Brian) Beal, Brandon Savage, Brittany (Aaron) Green, Danielle (Andrew Grimmett) and Allyson Jones; great grandchildren, Gavin Harper and Lilah Grimmett; many nieces, nephews, and extended family, that will all miss him dearly.
