Ian Stearns Seeds Jr., age 87, passed from this life on Thursday, August 13, 2015. Born in Larchmont, NY to the late Ian S. and Daisy M. Seeds on July 5, 1928. Also, preceded in death by sister, Beverly K. Seeds. Ian served his country and was a 1st Lt. in U.S. Marine Corps and was a Naval Aviator in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. While in the Marine Corps he was on the Marine Corps track team. Graduate of The Ohio State University where he received his BS in business. Member of The Ohio State University Marching Band and a TBDBTL alumni member. Ian started a band called the Vagabums and enjoyed playing trumpet and listening to music throughout his life. Ian worked and retired from Rockwell (North American Aviation), Battelle and Westinghouse. He was a family man and avid dog lover. He is survived by beloved wife of over 50 years, B. June Seeds; son, Craig (Kathy) Seeds; daughter, Kristin Collins; grandchildren, Josh (Sarah) Collins, Lindsay Seeds, Jacob Seeds, and Matthew Seeds; great grandsons, Chase Collins and Brody Collins. Family will receive friends Monday 5 to 8 pm. at O. R. WOODYARD CO. NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 2990 Bethel Rd. where funeral service will be held Tuesday 11 am. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
