Irma Jean Freshwater, 84, of Upper Arlington, formerly of Dublin, Ohio, passed away April 8, 2017, at Abbington Village Assisted Living. Born in Knox County, Kentucky August 12, 1932 to the late Silas Henry and Maude Mildred (Noe) Harrison. Preceded in death by her second husband, John Freshwater; first husband and father of her only child, Boyd Pinkerton Sr.; brothers, Silas James, Everett Herschel, and Edwin (Ted). Jean is survived by son, Boyd Pinkerton; sisters, Faye Smith and Ruth Roark; grandchildren, Sarah (Eben) Brusco, Zac (Ashley) Pinkerton, Alex Pinkerton and Adam Pinkerton; great-grandchildren, Luca and Winnie Brusco and Landon, Olivia, Ava Pinkerton; many nieces, nephews, special mention extends to her nieces, Kathy Condon and Rhonda Dill; and other family and friends. The family of Irma Jean Freshwater wishes to thank all of the wonderful staff at Abbington Village of Upper Arlington and the caring people with Kindred Hospice. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 12 from 2 pm until the time of funeral service at 4 pm at O. R. WOODYARD NORTHWEST CHAPEL 2990 Bethel Rd.
