Irmgard Rudl, 90, of Philadelphia passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on the 28th day of July. She was born in Gussenstadt, Germany. She received her diploma from Heilbron High School. Irma was an avid reader. She moved to the United States at 25 and began a long career in customer service with Stouffers and Prudential. Irma was very loving, giving, and accepting to anyone she met. She touched the lives of her family, friends, and strangers. Irma loved nature and her garden and in particular she made friends with a cat named Sammy in her last years. He was her constant companion and laid with her in her last days and comforted her until she took her last breath. Irma is survived by her son, Thomas Rudl and daughter in law Heike , her two grand children Karl and Erich Rudl, her sister Rosemary Zarkos, her niece Catherine, and her family Natalie, Nicholas, and Nathan. She is also survived by her nephew Steve and his family. Irma continues to have many surviving family members in Germany. Private family services. Interment Union Cemetery.
