Ivalee Brown, age 93, passed away on July 18, 2025. She was born in McDowell, Kentucky on December 3, 1931, to the late Bert and Renie Tackett. She later married Herman Brown on April 11, 1954.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman "Pete" brown; daughter, Delores Kinney; grand-daughter, Tiffany Kinney; siblings, Ruby B. Smith, Bill Tackett, Ethel Mae Meade, Birdie Sue Tuttle, Harold Tackett She is survived by grandchild, Eric (Amanda) Kinney; great-grandchildren, Tessa, Ivy, Jacob, Eric, Nevaeh and Alexis; sister, Glenda Faye Tackett; sister-in-law, Loretta Tackett and many additional family and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30AM until time of service at 11:30AM at the MYERS-WOODYARD Funeral Home 587 Main St., Columbus, OH 43125. Burial will follow at Obetz Cemetery, Pastor Danny Cardy will be officiating.
