Jacob H. Bingmer, age 78, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Retired from Columbus Public Schools. Preceded in death by sons Jacob and John, parents Phillip and Edna Bingmer, brother Jim. Survived by wife of 58 years, Ruth Marvene Bingmer; son, Rick (Susan) Bingmer; daughters, Sara Lyons and Dina (Jimmy) Marcum; six grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; brother, Phillip; sisters, Katherine, Helen and Annie; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High Street, where the funeral service will be Monday 11 a.m. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
