James E. "Jim" Daniel, age 85, passed from this life on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at home. Born in Offut, Kentucky on January 30, 1930. He resided in Columbus, Ohio at the time of his death. Survivors include wife, Patricia Daniel; one son; four daughters all from a previous marriage and several grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one daughter. Additional survivors include two brothers, two sisters along with numerous nieces and nephews. James was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and retired from Owens Illinois Glass Factory. Family will receive friends at Columbus First Christian Baptist Church, 4185 Parsons Avenue, Monday August 17, 2015, from 11:30 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Pastor Jeremy Kamer officiating.
