James Robert Day Sr. of Columbus, Ohio passed away at the age of 67 on Friday, August 7, 2020. James enjoyed weight- lifting, fishing, playing cards, long drives, classic cars and watching the Dallas Cowboys. James is preceded in death by son, James R. Day Jr.; father, Buddy and mother, Bertha (Waugh) Day; siblings, David, Sally, Rickey, and Alice Day. Survived by daughter, Mandy Blevins; step daughters, Angela Blackburn and Cheri Crisp; siblings, Billy, Larry, Anna, Sandy and Kara Day; grandchildren, Shelby Revalee, Jacob and Lindsey Blevins, Tyler Collins, Ashley Garman, Gabby and Cheyenne Blackburn, Tristaan, Christopher and Emma Drake; nieces, nephews and many close friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 13 from 5 pm until the time of service at 7 pm. Inurnment at a later date Green Lawn Cemetery. Cemetery Details Cremation-No cemetery at this time.
