James Joseph Gavorcik age 81, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020. James was born at Adena, Ohio on May 24, 1939. He was a US Army veteran, volunteered at Motts Military Museum and served as a Scout leader. James worked as a mechanic for Big Bear. He is preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Sophie (Pobolish) Gavorcik; brother, Tom Gavorcik; first wife, Nancy and second wife Diane. James is survived by sons, Steve (Marcia) Gavorcik and Chris (Anne) Gavorcik; grandchildren, Matthew, Nancy, Luke and David; sister, Mary Ann (Bob) Sawders; several nieces and nephews and friends. Family will receive friends Monday, August 3, 2020 from 11:00 am. until time of service at 12 noon. Pastor Elizabeth Reed officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
