James Robert Green, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, passed away on September 11, 2026. Born on October 7, 1957, Jim lived a life filled with dedication to his family and a passion for his favorite sports teams.

For 33 years, Jim was a dedicated employee at Yokohama tires, where he was known for his hard work and commitment. Outside of work, his heart belonged to the Guardians, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Cleveland Browns. However, Jim would tell you that his greatest accomplishment and deepest joy was becoming a grandpa.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Joann. Together, they built a beautiful family, including their daughter Jessica and her husband Hayden, and their adored grandson, Lincoln. Jim also leaves behind his siblings: Sharon, Alison (Mark), Mike (Trish), Joe (Beatrix), and Tim (Jennifer). He will be dearly missed by his in-laws, Margaret, John (Mary Pat), and Paula (Denny), as well as many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald James Green and Margaret Green, and his brother, Kevin.
