James John Manos, age 63, of Upper Arlington, passed away November 12, 2014, in the presence of his loving family at First Community Village of Upper Arlington, where he lived for the past 12 years. He is preceded by his parents John and Kathryn Manos. Jim will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 31 years, Paula Manos (Protopapas); daughters, Rebecca Ramsey (Jason), Elizabeth Manos, and Sarah Manos; many other extended family members, Beta brothers, and friends. Jim held multiple positions in business, raised over $200,000 for the National MS Society with his team "Overcomers," was the president of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity and a varsity lacrosse player at The Ohio State University. His greatest joy was his wife and three daughters. Jim was a man that loved The Lord and brought encouragement and inspiration to all that knew him. Family will receive friends from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2014 at O.R. WOODYARD CO. Northwest Chapel, 2990 Bethel Rd., where a Trisagion prayer service will begin at 4:15 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2014 at The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 555 N. High St. Interment Union Cemetery.
