.James O'Neil Mobley, age 82, passed away on February 11, 2026, at his home. James was born in Harlen, Kentucky on August 7, 1944, to the late James Mobley and Sylvia (Wilson) Helton As well as his parents James is also preceded in death by his wife, Diann; daughter, Stefanie Carter; and Nephew, Russell "Rusty" Mobley Jr. He is survived by his brother, Russell Mobley Sr.; Niece, Lisa (Jeff) Thomas; great niece, Kyla (Dustin) Jenkinson; and great nephews, Jared Bandy, Jacob and Kyle Mobley. James was a U.S. Army veteran serving his country during the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. James enjoyed working on cars, restoring old cars, fishing and camping. Visitation for James will be held Thursday February 19, 2026, from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Internment Obetz Cemetery.
