He has been reunited with his loving wife, with whom he shared over 50 years of devotion and companionship before her passing. Their love story was one of enduring commitment, mutual respect, and deep affection, and it was clear to all who knew them how much they meant to each other. He was a devoted, faithful man, whose love for God and his family were evident in all aspects of his life.

A veteran of the United States Army, Don was a man of many talents and interests. He was a gifted musician, playing a variety of instruments with a passion that brought joy to those around him. In addition to his musical abilities, Don had a talent for woodworking and was a skilled artist who took pride in creating beautiful works with his hands. He had a vibrant personality and never met a stranger—his warmth and generosity made him a beloved figure to friends, family, and acquaintances alike.
Don is survived by his two daughters, Tamara (Roger) Sue Moore Wycoff of Columbus, OH, and Lisha (Jose) Dawn Moore Medina of Bethlehem, PA; three grandchildren, Bryan Edward Genesky, Ayla Marie Genesky, and Christopher James Woot Detrixhe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.
Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Don's life was a reflection of his faith, his talents, and the love he shared with others. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of joy, kindness, and service will continue to inspire.
